About

Lily Couchman is a London-based artist / designer / maker / thinker, with a 2:1 in BA(Hons) Design from Goldsmiths, University of London.

Their practice focuses on the exploration of gender and class experience relating to food and diet culture, particularly the movement of veganism. Through public performance, film, photography, and publication, they question human behaviours and the sociopolitical implications of food-related habits.

They believe in education through empathetic exploration into society, culture, politics and the environment: striving to help deconstruct capitalist heteropatriarchal standards.
