Sex, Beans, 911 (2018)

This short film combines an action scene from Bollywood film 34 Enthiran (2010) and a quote from Clerks II (2006), "I'm disgusted and repulsed and I can't look away".

 

The film consists of re-envisioned stunts and special effects from 34 Enthiran, blended with aspects of the party in which the quote is said within Clerks II.

 

Deconstructing the scene into basic movements, then utilising simple lighting, camera and costume tricks allow the viewer’s perspective to be manipulated, giving the effect of unnatural 360° head turns and alterations in scale.

 

The use of food and repulsive actions twist the female representation in both films to create an amalgamation of aesthetically pleasing yet distasteful clips.
